LFS Firsts marks the beginning of your chapter at LFS.

LFS Firsts is a flagship event held annually by the LFS|US, welcoming approximately 100 first-year students. This event is organized by dedicated student leaders from the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at UBC.

 

Our goal is for students to feel invited to the community and create bonds with peers and senior students. We do this through sharing meals together and facing activities that build teamwork, spark synergy, and nurture leadership.

 

LFS Firsts is only for first year and incoming transfer student. So, come grab your tickets before they are gone! You don’t want to miss this amazing one-time opportunity to make new friends. 

 

Some additional advantages of participating in the event would be:

• Talk to senior volunteers and executives and learn more about LFS

📍 Location: Agora Cafe (Macmillan Building Basement)

• 2:30 PM – Check-in & attendance

• 3:00 PM – LFS Firsts team introductions

• 3:15 PM – Scavenger Hunt around UBC!

• 4:00 PM – Activity period (Crafts, Mocktail Competition, Animal room, Trivia)

• 5:15 PM – Dinner & Snacks

• 6:00PM – 7:30 PM – Movie Time @ AMS Norm Theatre ​
